nice, 21 tracks! It's growing, which is great, though the trouble for me is (as JH alluded to in one of his exit posts) is making the extra time to listen to all of them (all the way through), which for me is required for the real IF+1 community-event experience. I guess in my case it's IF+1 (+2).
I have to admit, although I try to listen to them all, I have my own personal favorite improvisers/composers that participate here. I'm thinking folks who just want to visit here (without even signing up) will develop an interest in one or +2 composers. One person might get really into say..., Bruce Hamilton, someone else into Shane Cadman. I've observed this from my Facebook page. Over the last eight months, I would get certain "regular" listeners who only commented on certain pieces from other participants that I posted. It seemed they were developing a real like for participants in the event that was more to their taste.

And no, I'm not telling you who my favorites are! ;)
Yeah, the beauty is in the diversity. I try to catch them as they come in, but I'm only able to do that because I'm not working much these days. In the future, who knows? I liketo give every piece a chance, but I know what you mean JC.

You know, one thing I think would be cool is if the player said how long each piece is. Don't know if that's possible though.

BTW, thanks for the piece of yours.

Your welcome. Sorry to hear about The Mighty Noah.

I try to listen to them all as well. Some of us are posting 2 or more per event, which is nice, but of course, takes longer to listen to. I'm back from an improv workshop this w/e, so I'm just hearing some now. I guess I have favorites, but then there's sometimes something from someone who may not be a favorite that I really enjoy and resonates with me.
Indeed; and sometimes there are great moments several minutes into someone's track (etc.).

Another fine and diverse selection of recordings this week! I always try to listen to everything properly, but it does sometimes take most of the week to get through them all. This week I managed to listen to some as they came in and the rest on Sunday, but there have been weeks when I'm still listening on Thursday.
I agree with Shane and I always suppose there's two sides. But I don't mind putting a time indication. (c.a. 5:49.548 seconds)
;-) I actually try to keep the improvisations short anyway. 5-7min though some may think that's a bit much.

Impetus is about 7:29.
